Copyright & DMCA Policy
Effective date: October 21, 2026
TopTen, operated by RyanKing, LLC, respects the intellectual property of others and expects users to do the same. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512. This policy is part of our Terms of Service.
1. Designated copyright agent
Send copyright notices to our designated agent:
- Name: Copyright Agent
- Service provider: RyanKing, LLC
- DMCA designated agent registration: DMCA-1083753
- Email: copyright@toptens.app
Only copyright notices should go to this agent. For other issues, use our contact form.
2. Sending an infringement notice
If you believe content on TopTen infringes your copyright, send a written notice that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature;
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe was infringed;
- The specific URL(s) of the material on TopTen you want removed;
- Your name, address, phone number, and email address;
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing may make you liable for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). Consider whether the use may be fair use before sending a notice.
3. What we do
When we receive a valid notice, we'll remove or disable access to the material and make a reasonable effort to notify the user who posted it, including a copy of the notice (which may include your contact information).
4. Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may send our agent a counter-notice that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature;
- A description of the material removed and the URL where it appeared;
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification;
- Your name, address, and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if outside the US, any judicial district where TopTen may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.
We'll forward the counter-notice to the person who sent the original notice. Unless they tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the material within 10 to 14 business days after receiving your counter-notice.
5. Repeat infringers
We will, in appropriate circumstances, disable or terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyrights.
6. Other intellectual-property complaints
For trademark or other complaints, use our contact form and choose “Report content.”
